I’m so happy that I finally finished my mittens and I’ve been wearing them already. Unfortunately with all the frustration I had while making them I didn’t write down my pattern. I made so many mistakes and I had to rip these out several times. I don’t know why since I’ve made a similar pair in the past without a pattern and had no problems. I guess my brain just wasn’t into it this time.

I think my next project is to knit a pair of these for my sister:

I’d like a pair too, but I also want make new wrist warmers for myself, some new hats, neck warmers and mittens for the girls and boat load of other items. I’m glad to see my knitting mojo has returned.

I feel like a crummy knitter. I’ve been so busy with other things that I haven’t been keeping up my blog or even knitting much.

I haven’t finished the fingerless gloves with mitten flaps yet to go with my hat and scarf, but I will be done soon. I got stuck on them and just kept putting them aside. Since I seldom have more than one project on the go I didn’t start anything else.

I have been feeling inspired more lately and I have a long list of things I really want to make. Winter is here and so is the desire to make warm, woolly things.

Lucky me, I’m doing Christmas dinner at my house this year. Yeah I’m just a little freaked out. Wish me luck.
