Frightening thoughts

Okay here’s the thing, although the celtic sweater is done it’s pretty snug. I’m thinking about frogging the whole thing and starting over, adding an inch or two all around. I have enough cotton to do this. It’s just all the work (about a month) that went into it. Sigh, but it just doesn’t fit the way I want it to. I’ve been in denial about it for the last few days.

I’m going to leave it alone as I knit the girl’s winter sets and any Christmas gifts I want to do. Then I’m going to go back and think about it. I think it’s going to be frogged. I mean what’s the point of making it if I can’t wear it? I’ll make the proper modifications and then I’ll be happy with it.

Please take a moment of silence and weep for me.

AH!! I don’t know what frogged means, but it scares me! But you’re right. If you’re not happy with it, it will be worth the time to fix it. I’ll weep with you…

Frogging means pulling out all the knitting and re-using (or re-doing) the whole sweater. Yes it is frightening, because I’d have to start all over. The thing is the sweater is beautiful for someone who’s a size 5. Me being a size 8 or 10 well it just isn’t working out that well.
